6 injured in Israeli attack in northeastern Lebanon
Lebanon's Ministry of Health announced that an Israeli drone attack targeted a car in the vicinity of the town of Hosh al-Sayyid Ali in the Hermel district, northeastern Lebanon, injuring six people, including five Syrians and one Lebanese. The Israeli army said it targeted Syrian national Yusuf Ali al-Hassoun, accusing him of carrying out plots against its forces in southern Syria under Iranian direction. The strike occurred in a border area that had been relatively spared from similar incidents since the ceasefire between Israel and Hezbollah.
