A Highly Significant Incident… Who Is Tracking Hassan Aliq?

The page "Beirut Review" posted on X a video it said documents a tracking device found by chance inside the car of journalist Hassan Aliq while it was being repaired. According to the page, the device operates on 4G technology and contains a Lebanese SIM line, while it is not yet known who planted it or how long it remained inside the car. Aliq indicated that the main suspicions point to a Lebanese security agency, without conclusive evidence proving this so far, raising serious legal, rights and political questions about who stands behind the tracking operation, its legal basis, and whether it was carried out with judicial authorization.
