After controversy… Trump clarifies San Diego and Los Angeles story
US President Donald Trump denied that he called on Iran to bomb San Diego or Los Angeles, stressing that his remarks were taken out of context and that he was making a comparison between rising fuel prices and the cost of Iran possessing a nuclear weapon. He explained that higher gasoline prices are temporary and a "small price" to prevent Tehran from obtaining a nuclear weapon, after clips excerpted from his remarks sparked criticism in the United States.
