After Interrogation... Flydubai Co-Pilot Reveals His Motives

Israel's Channel 12 reported, citing sources, new details about the Omani co-pilot accused of trying to seize a Flydubai aircraft, saying Israel's Shin Bet security service interrogated him and that during questioning he said his motive was "revenge for Gaza." The incident occurred aboard flight FZ1073 from Dubai to Tel Aviv on September 30, when the co-pilot attacked the captain with an "emergency axe" and tried to seize the controls, before passengers and crew members subdued him, forcing the plane to divert and make an emergency landing at Tabuk airport in Saudi Arabia.
