Army Commander discusses current developments with Samad and Riashi

Lebanese Army Commander General Rudolf Haikal received at his office in Yarzeh the head of the National Defense, Interior and Municipalities Committee, MP Jihad al-Samad, then MP Melhem al-Riashi. During the two meetings, current developments were reviewed. The two MPs expressed appreciation for the military institution's efforts to maintain internal stability, stressing that the army is the guarantor of civil peace.
