Sources told Asharq Al-Awsat that Baghdad suspects two storage sites for Chinese-made man-portable air-defense systems, recently delivered from Iran to Iran-aligned Iraqi factions, were hit in airstrikes last week. A security official said Baghdad has enough to believe Israel was behind the strikes, while the method remains unclear, amid an intelligence assessment that the US-Israeli war against Iran may have resumed through Iraq.
