Banque du Liban opens account for 'deposit recovery'
announced the opening of a special, independent account called the 'deposit recovery account,' to which all funds recovered for the bank are transferred exclusively through judicial rulings, legal settlements, or other procedures in Lebanon and abroad. It said it is continuing legal action to recover embezzled, transferred, or unlawfully used funds, and that the account is financially and accounting separate and dedicated exclusively to repaying deposits.

- أعلن مصرف لبنان فتح حساب خاص ومستقل باسم "حساب استرداد الودائع".
- تُحوَّل إلى الحساب حصراً الأموال المستردة لمصلحة المصرف بموجب أحكام قضائية أو تسويات أو إجراءات أخرى في لبنان والخارج.
- قال المصرف إنه يواصل الإجراءات القضائية لاسترداد الأموال المختلسة أو المحوّلة أو المستخدمة بشكل غير مشروع.
- أبلغ مصرف لبنان المراجع القضائية المختصة بفتح الحساب وتخصيصه حصراً لتسديد الودائع.
- الحساب منفصل مالياً ومحاسبياً عن سائر موجودات المصرف ومحظور استخدامه لأي غرض آخر.
