Conflicting Hebrew reports: Will Israel attack Yemen or Iran?
Hebrew reports are conflicting about whether Israel plans to launch an attack on Iran or on the in Yemen. Maariv said Washington asked Israel to carry out an independent strike against Iran, while Yedioth Ahronoth claimed that the U.S. discussion with Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir was about an attack in Yemen. Zamir warned that any attack could lead to escalation with the Houthis and Iran and might postpone the Israeli elections. The Israeli military maintains readiness for a possible confrontation with Iran.
