Continued Israeli shelling of southern Lebanon accompanies Tampa talks
Israel continued its air and artillery strikes on southern Lebanon alongside the second day of Lebanese-Israeli military talks in Tampa, amid disagreements over the verification mechanism and Israel's withdrawal. President Joseph Aoun stressed that Lebanon will not be a battlefield for others' wars, while Nabih Berri insisted that repealing the will not pass.
