Culture Minister receives parliamentary Education Committee

Culture Minister Ghassan Salameh received in his office at the National Library - Sanaei the head of the Parliamentary Education, Higher Education and Culture Committee, MP Hassan Mrad, and committee members MPs Ashraf Baydoun and Edgar Traboulsi, to discuss the proposed "Public Cultural Prosecution" law aimed at protecting cultural property. After the meeting, MP Baydoun said the proposal would soon be on the committee's agenda, hoping it would be an important qualitative leap for preserving Lebanese heritage at home and abroad.
