Doctors' Syndicate Head: Need to Ensure Medicine Quality

Doctors' Syndicate Head Dr. Elias Shalala stressed after meeting President Joseph Aoun the need to ensure the quality of medicines provided to patients, especially cancer and chronic disease medicines. He supported activating the National Drug Authority to oversee drug quality and conformity with international standards, noting that President Aoun encouraged him to follow up on this file in coordination with the Minister of Health.
