From airstrikes to phosphorus: a tense night in the south
South Lebanon witnessed a renewed escalation of Israeli bombardment this evening, with artillery shelling targeting the town of Mansouri and the outskirts of Braasheet, and phosphorus shells hitting Zoutar al-Sharqiya. An explosion was also heard in the town of Khiam amid intensive low-altitude Israeli warplane flights, following a wave of airstrikes that targeted Wadi al-Salouqi, Bani Hayyan and Mansouri.
