From Mansourieh to Syria... Who transferred al-Kayyali and how?

The Lebanese Public Prosecution opened an investigation into the circumstances of the abduction of Ali al-Kayyali, known as Ma'raj Ural, and his transfer from the Mansourieh area in Mount Lebanon to Syria, according to an Associated Press report. The agency quoted judicial and security officials as saying authorities ordered analysis of phone records to determine whether al-Kayyali was moved to the Syrian embassy outside Beirut and then to Damascus, or taken directly to Syrian territory, while Damascus said he was arrested while trying to flee across the border.
