General Security: New Deadline to Regularize Status of Foreign Workers
The General Directorate of General Security announced the extension of the regularization of foreign workers violating residency rules and the regulation of Syrian labor in Lebanon until 29 January 2027 inclusive, warning of stricter enforcement of laws and regulations against illegally residing non-Lebanese after the deadline.

- تمديد مهلة تسوية أوضاع العاملات والعمال الأجانب المخالفين لنظام الإقامة في لبنان حتى 29/01/2027 ضمناً.
- يشمل القرار ضبط أوضاع اليد العاملة السورية في لبنان.
- بعد انتهاء المهلة سيتم التشدد في تطبيق القوانين والأنظمة على المقيمين من غير اللبنانيين بصورة غير شرعية.
- دعت المديرية العامة للأمن العام إلى التواصل عبر مركز الاتصال على الرقم 1717 أو زيارة مواقعها على الإنترنت.
