Ghana Ministry Receives Cybersecurity White Paper from Academic City University
Ghana's Ministry of Communication, Digital Technology and Innovations has received a cybersecurity white paper from Academic City University, following a stakeholder roundtable held during last year's National Cybersecurity Awareness Month. The white paper brings together perspectives from academia, industry and the Cyber Security Authority, focusing on building national cybersecurity capacity and talent, developing local solutions, and moving from policy development to measurable implementation. The delegation included representatives from the university, the Institute of ICT Professionals Ghana (IIPGH) and the Cyber Security Authority. Minister Samuel Nartey George stressed the importance of strong institutions, industry participation, research and sustained investment, and the Ministry said it will study the recommendations.
