Hajj: Work begins.. for faster internet and stronger connection

Minister of Telecommunications Charles Hajj announced on X that contracts for 25 central offices were signed to deliver fiber optics to 330,000 homes across Lebanon. He said work has begun in 9 central offices in Nahr Beirut, Ras al-Nabaa, Khalde, Hadath, Jdeideh, Jounieh, Tripoli (Tal), Sidon, and Zahle, while work will begin in the remaining 16 central offices before the end of this year, describing the project as moving toward faster internet, stronger connection, and a digital Lebanon "home by home."
