Health Ministry Re-Examines All Biosimilar Drugs in Lebanon
The Ministry of Public Health announced its intention to update and re-study the files of all biosimilar drugs on the Lebanese market according to updated World Health Organization standards. It confirmed that the drugs seized by security forces had a ministerial decision to remove them from the register for not meeting the conditions for use and circulation, while a judicial task ended with the seizure of unfit drugs in a warehouse in the Galerie Semaan area of Beirut.

- أعلنت وزارة الصحة العامة عزمها تحديث وإعادة دراسة ملفات جميع الأدوية البيوسيميلر في السوق اللبنانية وفق معايير منظمة الصحة العالمية المحدثة.
- قالت الوزارة إن الأدوية التي حجزتها القوى الأمنية صدر قرار وزاري سابق بشطبها لعدم استيفائها شروط الاستخدام والتداول في لبنان.
- أشارت الوزارة إلى أن إجراءات النيابة العامة التمييزية جاءت بناءً على إحالة وكتاب من وزير الصحة العامة واستناداً إلى تحقيق داخلي.
- انتهت مهمة قضائية بضبط أدوية غير صالحة في مستودع في منطقة غاليري سمعان في وختمه بالشمع الأحمر.
- واجهت دوريات المباحث الجنائية المركزية محاولة لمنع المداهمة ما استدعى طلب مؤازرة الجيش اللبناني وقوى الأمن الداخلي.
