Hezbollah members besiege a security patrol at a medicine warehouse

MTV reported that dozens of armed young men affiliated with Hezbollah besieged a 15-member patrol of the Central Criminal Investigation Department that was executing a judicial delegation from Public Prosecutor Ahmed Rami al-Hajj, based on a referral from Health Minister Rakan Nasreddin, to seize and confiscate corrupt medicines in warehouses belonging to a pharmaceutical company in the Ghazir Sam'an area. The armed men asked the brigadier general heading the patrol to withdraw and prevented him from sealing the warehouses with red wax, while the number of armed groups exceeded hundreds, prompting the officer to request backup from the army command and the General Directorate of Internal Security Forces.
