Hezbollah's Message Arrived... and the State Responded

After Hezbollah's attempts to recover seized explosives in Dahir al-Baydar failed and it sensed the judicial process would run its course, it mobilized supporters on motorcycles in Beirut's streets late Friday-Saturday. After the brief demonstration, Lebanese Army units deployed patrols and checkpoints in Beirut and the southern suburbs. A political source quoted by "Nidaa al-Watan" said Hezbollah's message was delivered, while the state responded that it would not allow civil peace to be disturbed, that the army was ready to maintain security, and that the judiciary would not yield to pressure in the explosives case.
