International messages to Lebanon: Beware of intervention in the war!

Lebanon is seriously dealing with international warning messages that Israel will expand the security zone it occupies to include Nabatieh, Sidon and Tyre if Hezbollah resumes supporting Iran in the event of a renewed war between Iran and the United States. US Secretary of State Marco Rubio conveyed a similar warning to President Joseph Aoun, who informed Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri and Prime Minister Nawaf Salam, while Berri conveyed the warning’s content to Hezbollah through his aide Ali Hassan Khalil. A ministerial source said Hezbollah’s political wing conveyed its commitment not to intervene in support of Iran, amid questions about the military wing’s position.
