Israel moves to extend state of emergency until after elections
The Israeli government is voting Thursday to extend the on the home front until November 3, after the general elections scheduled for October 27, citing uncertainty especially on the Iran and Lebanon fronts. A cabinet document cited a high probability of an attack on Israel, while the opposition accuses Netanyahu of election propaganda through security threats.
