Israel Prepares for Possibility of Resuming War on Iran

Israeli preparations continue for the possibility of resuming military strikes on Iran, amid pressure on US President Donald Trump not to return to war after the Republican Party's defeat in the midterm elections. Yedioth Ahronoth quoted Israeli officials as saying Trump's behavior cannot be predicted, while Trump said Iran cannot take any steps regarding its nuclear program without Washington's approval. Meanwhile, Reuters quoted an Iranian official as saying Tehran sent a nuclear proposal to the United States via Qatar, and that discussion of the US response will not begin before Washington meets seven Iranian demands.
