Israeli Defense Minister: Our mission in Iran is not over

Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz said on Sunday that his country has not completed its mission in Iran, accusing Tehran of trying to resume efforts to acquire nuclear weapons, which Iran denies. During an official ceremony, Katz added that Iran is also making "other dangerous efforts" that expose Israel to "real danger," without specifying their nature or the step his country intends to take. His remarks come after two wars Israel waged on Iran: the first lasted 12 days in June 2025, and the second began in February 2026 with US participation.
