Israeli Explosions, Shelling and House Demolitions in Southern Lebanese Towns

Israeli forces on Monday carried out explosions and artillery shelling in towns in southern Lebanon, including a heavy explosion in the town of Beit Yahoun, shelling of the outskirts of Kounine and tank fire toward farmland in Ibl al-Saqi, while continuing to demolish houses and infrastructure in eastern Zawtar, according to Lebanon's official National News Agency. The agency said eastern Zawtar is subjected almost daily to house demolitions and airstrikes on its outskirts, and that the developments come despite a ceasefire declared on June 20.
