Israeli Pressure to Resume War on Iran... and American Division

The New York Times reported, citing US officials, that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is trying to push US President Donald Trump to resume military operations against Iran. It quoted Iranian officials saying Tehran will not use chemical weapons unless attacked with nuclear weapons, and noted a US split over Israeli claims that Iran possesses chemical weapons, with the threat level to Americans in the Middle East at its highest since last February. Netanyahu's office told the newspaper that Israel closely monitors every Iranian threat and is ready to deal with it.
