Israel reportedly transferred intelligence to the United States indicating that Iran is considering using chemical weapons against its adversaries, according to The New York Times. Views in Washington differ over the information: some officials see it as part of a pressure campaign led by Netanyahu's government to push Trump to attack Iran, while others say the threats should be taken seriously. Israel also shared some information with Gulf officials, some of whom were skeptical about Iranian plans to use chemical weapons.
