Issa during Mseilha Castle rehabilitation: You can visit Lebanon safely

US Ambassador to Lebanon Michel Issa announced that the United States will invest in heritage sites in Lebanon during the ceremony marking the completion of the rehabilitation of Mseilha Castle in northern Lebanon on Friday, October 16. He said visitors can now tour the castle safely, and announced an investment of about half a million dollars to rehabilitate the Chehim heritage site, where the General Directorate of Antiquities received a $435,000 grant to restore the palace. Culture Minister Ghassan Salameh described the project as a model for peaceful and fruitful cooperation. Issa also visited René Moawad Airport in Qlayaat, Akkar.
