Jaber: Restoring Financing Passes Through Addressing the Financial Gap
Finance Minister Yassin Jaber discussed with a delegation from the the development of the electricity sector and expanding private-sector financing, especially for small and medium enterprises. Jaber stressed that increasing electricity production alone is not enough without reforms in distribution, collection, and waste control, noting that addressing the financial gap is essential to restoring confidence in the banking sector. He said work on the financial gap draft law will be completed after the budget is approved, expecting it to be done next March.
