Jumblatt and Derian Discuss Strengthening the State's Role

The Mufti of the Republic, Sheikh Abdul Latif Derian, received at Dar al-Fatwa former Progressive Socialist Party leader Walid Jumblatt, accompanied by MP Faisal al-Sayegh. They discussed Lebanese and Arab affairs and the latest developments in Lebanon, the importance of strengthening the state's role in this delicate phase Lebanon is going through, and consolidating national unity and coexistence. Jumblatt presented Derian with his book "Qadar fi Hadha al-Sharq" (Fate in This East).
