Karaki reviews hospital conditions and health coverage

The Director General of the National Social Security Fund, Mohammad Karaki, received a delegation from the Syndicate of Private Hospital Owners in Lebanon headed by Professor Pierre Yared to discuss relations between the Fund and hospitals and ways to develop cooperation, ensuring hospitals' financial rights while providing insured persons with adequate healthcare. The meeting covered planned increases in fixed surgical and medical procedure tariffs, adjusting pathology and medical equipment tariffs, creating a neonatology and newborn specialty, calculating drug tariffs on a median price basis, updating the medical supplies list, and settling outstanding financial files from before 2023.
