"Kataeb": To Protect Lebanon's Representatives Abroad
The external relations apparatus of the Lebanese Kataeb Party condemned the smear and pressure campaigns targeting Lebanon's ambassador to the United States, Nada Hamadeh Maouad, and rejected undermining her position and role in representing the Lebanese state. It stressed that Lebanon's foreign policy is drawn by its constitutional institutions and must not be subjected to any party's tutelage, calling for the protection of Lebanon's representatives abroad and for not turning them into targets in internal conflicts.
