Katz blames Israeli opposition for undermining security warnings

Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz held opposition leaders responsible for any future attacks against Israel, accusing them of undermining security warnings issued by him and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. He singled out Yair Lapid, Naftali Bennett and Yair Golan, saying authorities possessed intelligence indicating possible attacks before or during the elections, and stressed the military was prepared to take preventive and defensive measures against Iran and its regional allies.
