Lapid: No war expected with Iran before the elections

Israeli opposition leader Yair Lapid said the intelligence available to him does not indicate an expected war with Iran before the Israeli elections scheduled for October 27. He accused Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of exploiting warnings of a possible attack for electoral propaganda, saying he does not trust his government and that it is incapable of completing the mission. This came after Israeli media reported that Netanyahu chaired a security meeting on Sunday to discuss developments in Iran.
