Lebanese Customs Seize Smuggled Medicines in Saadiyat, Including Ozempic Injections
Lebanon's General Directorate of Customs announced the seizure of a quantity of smuggled human medicines inside a residential apartment in the Saadiyat area, including Ozempic injections that some use for weight loss without a prescription or medical supervision. The seized items and the person involved were transferred to the center to complete investigations, and the Directorate warned of the dangers of buying and using these medicines outside licensed channels and health regulations.

- نقلت الجمارك المضبوطات مع صاحب العلاقة إلى المركز لاستكمال التحقيقات وإجراء المقتضى القانوني.
- حذّرت المديرية من مخاطر الأدوية المتداولة خارج القنوات المرخّصة، ومن احتمال كونها مغشوشة أو متلفة بسبب سوء الحفظ.
- دعت المديرية المواطنين إلى شراء الأدوية حصراً من الصيدليات المرخّصة والالتزام بالوصفة والإشراف الطبي.
