Lebanese Parliament Elections Today… "As It Is"

The Lebanese Parliament holds a general session at 11 a.m. today, called by Speaker Nabih Berri, to elect two secretaries, three commissioners and members of the parliamentary committees. According to Lebanon Debate information, the key positions in the parliamentary committees will see no change, with their current heads expected to remain in place given understandings reached between parliamentary blocs before the session, and the elections are expected to pass without surprises in the distribution of responsibilities.
