Letter to Rubio demands Lebanon repeal Israel boycott law

Republican Party member Tom Harb revealed a letter addressed to US Secretary of State Marco Rubio demanding coordination between ambassadors to Lebanon and Israel to launch a pilot program allowing Lebanese Christians and Muslims to visit the Holy Land and return to Lebanon without legal prosecution before Christmas 2026. Harb said the letter calls for repealing the Israel boycott law issued in 1955, linking US financial and military aid to Lebanon to repealing the law, and imposing US sanctions on any Lebanese official or institution that prosecutes or punishes those who peacefully communicate with Israelis or visit holy places.
