Mark Daou Invited but No One Attended
None of the mayors and mukhtars attended the meeting called for by MP Mark Daou in the Aley district, with the participation of Social Affairs Minister Hanine El Sayed, despite invitations sent to hundreds of invitees. The meeting was devoted to discussing social protection policies in Lebanon and the Aman program, and the complete absence raised questions about why those directly concerned with people's needs did not participate.
