Massive US reinforcements approach Israel.. What is behind the move?

Israeli media reported that the United States is preparing to send additional troops and aircraft to Israel in the coming weeks, as part of broader US military moves in the Middle East, amid what Israeli security sources described as preparations for a possible regional escalation. Information indicates that about 3,000 US soldiers are currently deployed across Israel in air-defense, air-support, logistics and command missions, without specifying the size of additional forces, aircraft types or arrival dates, and no public US confirmation of the plan has been issued.
