Moawad: Douaihy preserved Lebanese memory and identity

MP Michel Moawad participated in the consecration Mass of the altar of the Blessed Mar Estephan Douaihy and Mar Elias Hwayek at St. George Cathedral in Beirut, in the presence of President Joseph Aoun. Moawad wrote on X that Douaihy preserved the unifying memory and identity based on freedom, science, and diversity, while Hwayek carried the cause of Greater Lebanon and contributed to founding its modern state. Moawad thanked Habib Harb and his family for donating the altar.
