Mount Lebanon Criminal Court releases 'Doctor Food'
The Mount Lebanon Criminal Court issued a decision to release George Deeb, known as 'Doctor Food', after the was published in the Official Gazette. Deeb had been arrested on August 23 during a security operation in Akkar, and on September 1 an in-person arrest warrant was issued against him for theft; he had also received an in-absentia sentence of life imprisonment with hard labor in a drug case.
