Najaf awaits flight schedules... US exemption to transport Iranian visitors
The Iraqi Ministry of Transport announced the success of government efforts to obtain a conditional US exemption allowing Iraqi Airways to operate flights to Iran, enabling the transport of Iranian visitors from and to Najaf airport, after Iranian flights were suspended at Iraqi airports due to US sanctions. Flight schedules have not yet been announced, and the exemption is limited to Iraqi Airways, not Iranian airlines.
