One in serious condition... Israeli soldiers injured in southern Lebanon

The Israeli army announced on Sunday that a soldier was seriously wounded and an officer moderately wounded in an operational incident in southern Lebanon on Friday, and that both were evacuated to hospital for treatment. The announcement came after Israeli media reports, cited by the Walla website from the army spokesperson, said eight soldiers were lightly wounded in an operational traffic accident between two vehicles in the same area; six of the wounded were evacuated to hospital before all of them went home. The spokesperson confirmed the army opened an investigation into the circumstances of the incident.
