Parliamentary Subcommittee Approves Draft Law Recognizing Ukrainian University Degrees

The subcommittee stemming from the National Education, Higher Education and Culture Committee approved an amended draft law recognizing the courses and degrees of Lebanese students and residents in Lebanon who studied at universities and higher institutes in Ukraine, including remote study during the 2023-2024 and 2024-2025 academic years due to force majeure conditions. The session was chaired by MP Ashraf Baydoun, with MPs Edkar Traboulsi and Bilal Al-Hashimi and Higher Education Director General Dr. Mazen Al-Khatib attending, paving the way for the draft law to complete its legislative path.
