Prosecutor General: To seize suspicious medicines and prevent their circulation

The Prosecutor General, Ahmad Rami Al-Hajj, assigned the head of the Central Criminal Investigation Department to open an investigation into the correspondence received from the Minister of Health and the list of medicines he had requested from the Director General of the Ministry of Health for investigation, and to inspect the warehouses of the companies and agents importing those medicines, with the aim of seizing them, preventing their circulation, and identifying the full identity of the company owners. The inspection and seizure operations are to take place in the presence of an observer from the Pharmacy and Inspection Department at the Ministry of Health, and the Prosecutor General is to be informed of the result.
