The Russian presidency announced on Saturday, October 10, 2026, that President Vladimir Putin conveyed to U.S. President Donald Trump, in coordination with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, the Iranian side's vision regarding a possible solution to the conflict between America and Iran. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Putin held two meetings with Pezeshkian on the sidelines of the CIS summit in Turkmenistan, during one of which he informed him of his intention to make a phone call with Trump, before conveying the Iranian vision to him.
