Qassem Renews His Attack on Lebanese-Israeli Negotiations

Hezbollah Secretary-General Naim Qassem renewed his attack on the Lebanese-Israeli negotiations during the second anniversary of the assassination of Hassan Nasrallah and Hashem Safieddine, saying Lebanon would vanish without resistance and blaming the authorities for the continued unstable security situation. He called for an end to concessions and a move to indirect negotiations, and criticized President Joseph Aoun, stressing that his right to negotiate does not mean violating the constitution and the Taif Agreement. He also announced that Hezbollah would soon announce a housing project and would help in reconstruction.
