Raad: No discussion of resistance arrangements before acknowledging its right

The head of the Loyalty to the Resistance bloc, MP Mohammad Raad, affirmed that the resistance is "the necessary and legitimate national defense option for Lebanon," stressing that no arrangements related to it can be discussed before acknowledging its fundamental right. He considered that calls for direct negotiations with Israel fall into the "trap of endorsement and support" for a path leading to submission to Israel's conditions, criticized a campaign targeting the resistance, and accused the United States of backing Israel and pressuring Lebanon to change its approach to the conflict.
