Salam: Anyone storing or transporting weapons must be punished

Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam stressed that storing or transporting weapons under any pretext requires security follow-up and judicial prosecution to ensure those responsible face the harshest penalties. He affirmed that the state alone has authority over decisions of war and peace under the Constitution, that Hezbollah must abide by this, and noted that the Cabinet asked the army to prepare an implementation plan that only the Cabinet can revisit, specifying the bodies authorized to carry weapons in Lebanon.
