Salam: Media machines sow poison to incite divisions
The media office of Prime Minister Nawaf Salam issued a statement denying what is attributed to him about criticizing the Lebanese Army leadership during his visit to Washington, or about changing the sect of the army commander or the central bank governor, or about a position on the chairmanship of Intra Investment Company's board. It said media and political machines are spreading rumors and fabricating positions to incite disputes between him and Lebanese parties, stressing his commitment to supporting the army and applying the constitution.
