Salam: Punish those who store and transport weapons

Prime Minister Nawaf Salam affirmed that storing or transporting weapons under any pretext requires security follow-up and judicial prosecution, with the strictest legal penalties imposed on perpetrators. He stressed that the state alone has the authority over decisions of war and peace, calling on Hezbollah to abide by this, and noted that the government had asked the army to prepare an implementation plan, with only the Council of Ministers entitled to reconsider it, while restricting the carrying of weapons to Lebanese security and military institutions.
